In addition to our two humidifying systems, Michelbach offers a further high performance controlled reverse osmosis with either antiscaling or a double softening process. By using these co-ordinated systems, a saving of more than 35% water can be achieved as opposed to conventional or standard humidifying systems.

Further products from the Michelbach product range include our hybrid cooling systems with adiabatic cooling, heat recovery as well as adiabatic cooling systems.

LUMI - 5 IN 1

The adiabatic air humidifier, LUMI 5 in 1, is a revolutionary and innovative unit in the air-conditioning system. Capable of humidifying, heating, cooling and sterilizing, the LUMI 5 in 1 is no more than 1 metre in length; saving not only material and space, but also ensuring that there is an unusually low loss of pressure resulting in a lower pump performance output which means a significant reduction in costs and CO2 output.  

Combined with the significant energy and CO2 savings, absolute hygiene, minimal maintenance, the end result are considerably lower operating costs.

In terms of performance, capacity and cost-effectiveness, the LUMI 5 in 1 surpasses any standard humidifier units.

REVERSE OSMOSIS

Ultra- pure water is not only for the humidifiers, it generates our reverse osmosis systems at the exact point when they are needed. Neither a permeate tank nor a permeate tank treatment is required and optimal hygiene is guaranteed. A maximum permeate yield of up to 92% ensures that an excellent level of cost-effectiveness and water saving is reached and maintained. The only pre-treatment required for the water is the double softening process or antiscaling. Furthermore, more users can be simultaneously provided with osmosis water without requiring an electrical connection.

HYBRID COOLING

For cooling in the production process, pure air-conditioning technology or water recooling, we offer our 1-3 stage recooling systems.  These systems work with the evaporation of a precisely regulated and controlled fine spray of water in the air stream.  Depending on your requirements, free cooling is also possible - that is the cooling occurs without water injection, only with cold air.  The use of biocides / biocidal substances or silver ions is absolutely unnecessary.

The advantages are clear - our system is chemical free, glycol-free, reliable, economical, durable and requires low maintenance.

HEAT RECOVERY

From experience, we know that heat recovery in circulatory compound systems with cold and heat recovery from the extracted air occur best in the direct exchange between supply and return air exchangers. The Michelbach heat recovery system differentiates itself from conventional systems in that the effectiveness of our systems is significantly higher to that of conventional systems in that heat from the extracted air is extracted a second time. Plate exchangers are therefore not required thus leading to an unbeatable degree of efficiency of up to 80%. A reduction of 50% of the cooling capacity. Cooling units of up to 50% smaller in size can be employed, saving space.

ADIABATIC AIR HUMIDIFICATION

Due to highly developed technological jets, even an ideal humidification system which meets the stringent requirements of air-conditioning technology can be realized. Our system, with its continuous regulation guarantees the exact level of humidity required and only aerosol free air, which has been set to the required level of humidity, leaves the closed system. The high demand for capacity and hygiene are ensured through the usage of V2a in all water bearing parts. This is applicable for both humidification systems.

STEAM HUMIDIFICATION

The SIED-steam humidifier has been especially developed to meet the high standards of hygiene required by hospitals, the chemial and pharmaceutical industries as well as in the food industry. Here, in this process, completely de-ionized water is used, and the usual water and energy losses caused by hot backwash and blow down waste can be completely avoided. Also here, a continuous control of between 0 and 100% can ensure that an absolutely exact supply air humidity is reached. There is no energy loss as the steam generation occurs in the supply air duct.

DIRECT ROOM HUMIDIFICATION

The SIED-steam generator ensures that the direct room humidification is ideal.  Normal tap water is evaporated giving algae and bacteria no chance at all!  A simple cleaning of the water tank once a year is sufficient.  The regulation of air humidity is maintained by using a room hygrostat.
